Charlotte is from New Zealand and started dancing at age seven. Inspired by the passion of her own dance teachers, she developed a love for teaching and pursued teacher training after leaving school. She gained the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced Ballet certificate in 1992, and qualified as an RAD teacher in 1996.

Before moving to the UK, Charlotte also gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, and a post-graduate Diploma of Teaching, and worked as a dance teacher for more than ten years in secondary schools in London.

She left teaching in 2010 to have children, and during this time she found she missed the refuge of dance, and the calm and space that ballet has always given her. She returned to teaching in the private sector, and now teaches ballet to all age groups.

Charlotte qualified as a Barre & Baby teacher in 2021, and is delighted to be serving new parents, giving them the opportunity to dance alongside their little ones and all the benefits this can bring emotionally and physically.
